The sleepy hamlet started as a saw-and gristmilling operation in the late 1830s and 40s.

Thanks to years of preservation work by a team of volunteers, the Fallasburg Historic District is fully preserved and thriving under the walnut trees with the newest addition of the remodeled Tower Farm.
